Problem openning vsts

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
So I have been producing for a while with about the same VSTs. For instruments I use Synth1, Digits, and VSTSpeek. For plugins/effects, I use MAutoPitch, Krush, Ace distortion, and Glitch.

However, when trying to drag the vst instruments in (I stored them in presets for easy access with presets from default instruments) it just stops responding and straight crashes for all of them. When trying out the plugins on an instrument or sample, it will do the same. My operating system hasn't changed, they have been in the same place, lmms is fully updated, they just stopped suddenly working for no reason (within the same hour of those plugins working!).

Now, any project involving the vsts, will not open and if it does it will load half way and stop responding. Anyway I can fix this?

Thanks!

The simplest thing would be a frozen VST-stub: We call it RemoteVSTplugin. Sometimes they hang them self up in RAM and that can create trouble. However if you have rebooted your PC, then they should be gone.
If you have not rebooted, then do that!
Let us know the outcome :)
lmms is fully updated,
You mean you got lmms-1.2.2 and its our off. page version?

please post your:
* Name of your **Operative System** (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype (Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* and just for good measures Lmms **version** and the *site* where you got it from

I did reboot my pc, and yes I got lmms 1.2.2 from the main site. Plugins will still not load, however I did RemoteVSTplugin in my task manager and I do have the option to end it.

My operating system is Windows 10 Home. I got the 1.2.2 version from https://lmms.io/download#windows.

Good.

and your os and version are fine.
What i would like you to do fist is to get our 'proof-vst'
MDA-piano http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm
It is very small in size, and you can just copy its dll to your VST-folder. Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win.

also, dont drag it in. Follow these guidelines:
