Installation Problem

Hi
I used to have lmms on an old desktop a year or two ago and loved it. Then i bought a laptop and tried to install lmms. I successfully downloaded the file but the download file (the installation) wont open. The laptop is 64-bit so i downloaded that and 32-bit. When clicked on, both files took forever to load and when it did, and the computer prompted me to install, i clicked yes but nothing happened. Then, it went back to my documents, tried to reload the file, and then prompted me to install again. This kept going on and no installation page opened.
I really want to use lmms again. Thanks.

I am using Windows 8.1 and am downloading it from the regular website. I think the url is lmms.sourceforge.net and it takes you to the homepage of the software.

So i tried searching lmms windows 8 in Google and i found a result that led me to the original download site. Anyway, i downloaded it again and it worked. It could have just been a bug from yesterday or something. Anyway, thanks for the reply.
