Crashing on startup

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello. I can't run LMMS. The application crashes without any messages except system offering for choosing debugger.
LMMS 1.0.0 Windows XP SP3 x86
firstly make sure you do not have anything left on the pc of previous lmms installations (search)
If anything -remove it
Then try and download the win32 version of 1.0
Install not through any windows install-crap, but simply use lmms OWN installer
(run | yes)
Let me know how it went
Lmms runs normally absolutely perfectly on xp
Thanks, musikbear, for your answer.

I have no previously installed LMMS. The 1.0.0 version is the first LMMS application on my computer.
After I have seen it cannot run I uninstalled 1.0.0, download 1.0.2 and installed it. The result is same - "An unhandled win32 exception occured in lmms.exe (700)".
Then try and download the win32 version of 1.0
I cannot find 1.0 version in https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmms/files/lmms/

Neighter can i, and thats bad, cause 02 is a bug test version- i will see if i can find an explanation
Possible duplicate of GitHub #512, similar to Sourceforge #376.

1.0.0 is still available here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmms/files/lmms/1.0.0/

1.0.2 is available here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmms/files/lmms/1.0.2/

When I had a computer experiencing this, re-installing the sound card drivers fixed this issue, however I believe there is certain hardware drivers which cause this. My solution was to completely remove and uninstall the 3rd party driver and use the Windows Sound driver instead.

If a new sound card driver doesn't work, I've seen success switching to the proprietary ASIO4ALL driver.

Tres already gave you the link, try 1.0-win32. Lets us know how it went.
Remember to uninstall before you re-install!
If it still fails, try the Asio-driver first, then it may be that you want to meddle with the sc-driver.. just rem. that you choose that for a reason? -
Are you sure your xp is flaw-less -Perhaps a repair is yet anoter option?
-----------
installed 1.0.2 win32, no problems at all.
It must be your xp.
My steps:

Uninstalling LMMS 1.0.2
Installing LMMS 1.0.0
Reinstalling sound drivers
Installing ASIO drivers (trying them througs WavoSaur audio editor.. works fine)

Running LMMS... crash!

I think there is a problem in my OS... But all patches are installed, all applications running fine.
I think I must reinstall my OS

Certainly, for my 32-bit architecture and 32-bit OS i choose installation file lmms-1.0.0-win32.exe

You have good sense of humour :D
Make sure you install LMMS in the default directory offered by the installer, not in any custom directory.
