He can't get MC-44 Vst to work.
That MC-44 Vst, is on the Lmms wiki list though, and is said, to work on Linux, and not the other OS versions.

the problem is that you can not work with any vst list I am a newbie in lmms. I need to install other synth, lmms which has make me the sound that I require have the dll but not be as add them already I did almost everything to make it work, I have installed
-playon
-wine
my computer has
memory: 3.1 GB
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53 GHz × 2
64-bit
GeForce GT PCIe-610-SSE2
I install the version of 32-bit wine because of 64 problems with vst after that removed it and install the 32-bit version
now my questions are
can I add vst?
where can I locate them?
ViSTige this badly installed or not recognize vst?
What should I do to add external to lmms-vst?

Your problem with vestige is unfortunately related to ubuntu. For some reason the ubuntu distro, does not like lmms, and specifically does like vestige in lmms.

at the moment it looks like the actual support for vestige is left out of the current ubuntu distro, but it may also be more than 'just' that.

I do not know if you can make the KX-studio version work:
KXStudio "lmms-vst-full - Linux Multimedia Studio - full VST support Using Wine"
The setting "Synchronize plugin with host playback" is directly coupled to KXstudios repo (afaik..
So i guess that the best shot is to try KXstudios version..
If you can make this distro work -thief, then i would appreciate a feedback, because then i can give the ubuntu pac-man some info about what they need to do, in order to get vestige in their pack ...maby
But right now the situation with ubuntu is a MESS
I found this.
Looks like a stand alone download for linux, of Vestige
http://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/Downloads

From the read me file:

Code: Select all

This is a special all-in-one bundle executable of FeSTige,
made for those users who have a hard time compiling it...

This is a 32bit binary, so if you're using a 64bit OS, you'll need to install
32bit compatiblity libs, or use some multilib technique.

It should all be ok if you have 32bit libs of:
  - Qt4
  - Gtk2
  - Wine

Note that the required/minimum Qt4 version is 4.7.0

To run, just double click on it.

The executable will ignore any command-line arguments, so usual tricks like
 $ ./festige -style gtk+
won't work here.

Re-resolved.
Somehow I had enabled a setting "Synchronize plugin with host playback".
Once disabled everything went back to normal operations.
Thanks to people at KXStudio!
Thank you it's working for me :)
