Record buttons doesn't work

Hi!

Why are there 2 greyed-out recordbuttons in the Song-Editor (between the "Play song" button and the "Stop song" button)
They do not work.

Some time ago I showed LMMS to a woman who wanted to make her own music. But she could not record because the recordbuttons were greyed-out.
So she dropped LMMS and switched to some commerciel software.
A that time I didn't know that there was recordbuttons in the Piano-Roll.

Why are the greyed-out recordbuttons not fixed or removed in the Song-Editor ?

Yes that's correct.

The recording you're meaning is a feature that is planned for further releases (when my informations are right).
I think the buttons are placeholder in the gui and they are filled with life someday in he future

Don't forget:
LMMS is OpenSource, free, under developent and in the beta V0.4x. Lot of Users (like me) are missing useful functions, too.
For this state it is _really_ running great, but it can't beat a commercial software.
