Fedora installation unable to play zynaddfX

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi,
I install lmms with dnf and could'nt have calf FX, so someone told me to compile to have calf support.
I did it but now I have another problem i didn't have before, all zynaddsubFX are not playing, I see them in the Preset browser but instead of logo i have a "?" and right click on it doest show menu, impossible also to double click.
I wonder if I have to do something else before compiling.
here is my output when cmake :

Topic moved to support. I'm not a tech expert, but I know that musikbear might be able to help you here. A less efficient method to have ZynAddSubFX might be to download it as the VST version and run it through VeSTige, but other than that, I have no other recommendations.
thanks, I will take it as a last solution.
Sorry, i do not know linux well at all, so i cant do anything, except link to linux trouble page:
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Wo ... _.26_Linux
In essence zasfx is a ported vst, but if anything in the linux/vst issue-box is valid, i cant tell
Please do not install the VST. That would require wine to be working/building properly -- arguably more work than just fixing zyn to begin with.

What instructions did you use for compiling?

Please provide the history of packages you've recently installed you can do this by typing "history |grep dnf"

Zyn requires fltk if that or the fltk-dev libraries are missing that would explain why it is not working.

Last, please provide exact OS version so someone can mimic you and reproduce.
Sorry for long silence, I was on Business trip.

I removed wine-devel,
here is historic of command to install
su
cd lmms
mkdir build && cd build
cmake ../
make
make install
now all files I installed for lmms:
961 dnf install fltk-devel
962 dnf install fltk-devel.i686
942 dnf install glibc-devel.i686
905 dnf install qt-devel
909 dnf install libsndfile-devel
910 dnf install fftw
911 dnf install fftw-devel
912 dnf install libvorbis
913 dnf install libvorbis-devel
914 dnf install fltk-devel
915 dnf install libsamplerate-devel
916 dnf install libstk-devel
917 dnf install stk-devel
918 dnf install libfluidsynth-devel
919 dnf install fluidsynth-devel
920 dnf install jack-devel
923 dnf install jack-audio-connection-kit-devel
924 dnf install alsa-devel
925 dnf install alsa-lib-devel
926 dnf install portaudio-devel
928 dnf install SDL-devel
930 dnf install pulseaudio-devel
931 dnf install pulseaudio-libs-devel
since I removed wine-devel this is my new summary

Unfortunatly zyn still not working after googling i realize that other users who have problems with sync cannot see zyn presets. me I can see them but cannot use any.
I am trying to discribe a little bit what happen.
I click on MyPreset->ZynAddSubFx->(any subdir)->(any presets) and on the icone I see a '?'
when i click on it, no sound is playing and ofcours double click or right click has no effects

I am using fedora 25 at home and fedora 23 at office, probleme is same on both, as I am at office now I can uname:
Linux localhost.localdomain 4.5.7-200.fc23.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Jun 8 17:41:50 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I removed wine-devel,
Sorry, im not the expert in linux 'stuff' GPS can perhaps give you the needed info.
I have to ask if you have read this:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_
But that is for issues with VSTs
It could however be, that it is valid for you too, cause zasfx is in fact a vst inside lmms.

On this page
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Wo ... _.26_Linux
You find this
Building LMMS x64 on Fedora
Here there is a lot about speciel need for fedora in order to use wine!
That could also be of importance (maybe)

We would very much like to hear your success if any, and what tech stuff you needed in order to get your fedora to not act stupid. So if any of my links leads to something useful or not, please report back
I am surprised and confused.

What we can try.

Start lmms from the command line, by typing lmms, and don't close the command line window.

Then in lmms insert zynaddsubFx into the song editor, and see if the command line gives any useful info on what goes wrong.

Why did you uninstall wine? you should not.
I remove wine because the previous post advice to not use wine, it can bring more troubles.
I tried what you ask even if I knew the result from the begining and it it: NOTHING Happened, no log nothing, it is clear because I cannot add zynaddsubfx presets in the song editor.
It appear in the list but is unusable. like empty button.

I as said I can use zyn if I use the binary provided by my distro : "dnf install lmms" but then i could not have CALF and some other nice FX
or I compile from source and I can use FX (CALF) but now i cannot use Zyn.

I would like to use both

Nono you misunderstand tresf, he says : please do not install lmms under wine, you DO need wine for VST support!
It is all explained in the link i gave you.
What i think is the correct thing to do now is:
* back up your own lmms stuff -eg everything you have made yourself
* remove lmms
* remove config-file
* make an update on your linux installation -make sure you have every thing
* dl a new lmms pack
* reinstall

@GPS -
Do chime in here, if you have better suggestions for fedora!
Ok, just did everyting you said, i remove everything i installed from history then install xine-devel again and:
git clone https://github.com/LMMS/lmms
cd lmms
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ../
make
su -c 'make install'
this time to help you understand il add a screeshot
Image
as you can see, '?' before the name of all zyn presets. I really don't see what i do wrong here. other they don't even si ZynAddSFX presets me I see them but can't use .

Edit: strange I don't see the image so I add the link here: http://imgur.com/a/PsM9s
