im using the DSK grand vst in a project and when i load it up i get an error saying it could not find the instrument. so before i load it up i have to take the dll file out of its folder and then load it up via vestige after replacing it back in its folder. it works but i was wondering if there was a more practical fix for this issue?

Some DSK Music VSTs do not work very well in LMMS (LMMS only?).

I have not tried this one, but I think there is no hope

Eg the project loads correctly, but lmms cant find the dll ?
Then you need to check, if you have the dll in a different folder, than the one you have defined in your settings. It should be in correct folder

Unfortunately that's yet another instrument made with the Maize Sampler player. LMMS always seems to have trouble with them.

thanks for the responses guys. im going to try and find a replacement for the dsk grand so i dont have to do all this weird messing around to start up the project. thanks for pointing out maize player vsts arent the best option.
