No Audio Output (GETTING NO SOUND WHATSOEVER)(QUESTION)

Okay, here's some backstory:

So I was watching a tutorial of LMMS to get a better grip of the program overall when the tutorial began to mention the audio settings. The man narrating the tutorial went over what Dummy, PortAudio, and SDL(not thoroughly enough, mind you). As someone who learns better from hands-on experience, I decided to do exactly as what he was doing in the video, but somehow I had manage to disable audio within LMMS by doing so and now deeply regret it.

I believe what happened is that as I was messing around in the Audio Settings, I unwittingly set it up in a way that it was impossible to have LMMS produce any sound, constantly resting itself back to Dummy because of this.

Or maybe not.

To put it in Layman's Terms, I didn't know what I was doing and thus seriously messed shit up.

If I'm not wrong, you have to put SDL.

When the configuration of LMMS is changed, LMMS must then be closed and restarted.

Does it work ?

Your problem is most likely the result of a corrupt configuration file
Please read this section and follow the steps

Then upstart lmms
Now a new config-file is created, and you should have sound.
And if you use windows as OS D.ipsum is correct: Do select SDL as your backend, and then save settings, and restart lmms

If this fails
please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* lmms version
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
* Latency setting
* lmms sound device chosen (if you not use windows
