Can only export as WAV glitch

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I'll try to explain what is going on the best I can.

1. I press Ctrl+E

2. Where is says "Files of Type:" there are two options: WAV, and OGG.

3. Assume I choose OGG. Now, I click Save.

4. In the top left, where it says "File Format", there is only one option, being WAV.

5. If I export it now, the file name will still end in ".ogg", but it is still a WAV file, just with the wrong name.

This is a problem, especially since I'd rather use OGG than WAV in many cases. Is there a solution, other than just converting my files every time?

I am using Debian 9, KDE 5, LMMS 1.1.3.
At 4, you should be able to select ogg again.

Sorry, this website didn't notify me of your message

You are correct, I should be able to. But I can't, it isn't even an option.

Normally I would provide a screenshot, but I cannot take a screenshot while a dropdown box is open.

I can (and usually do) export things as OGG in Audacity. I doubt me using Debian has anything to do with not allowing OGG export in LMMS, especially since Linux seems to be significantly more OGG-friendly than Windows.

I'm not sure what to do in this circumstance...

Is there any other information I can give that will help figure out what the problem is? :/

..Right, then its lmms or fail40..
But havent you exported many other times ? -And also in ogg.. ?
If so, then this is due to a failing component in lmms, and you could try to reinstall.. But first i will make a tiny vid, where i export an ogg in 1.1.3 style, then try to do that
If that fails, try a reinstall, but im somewhat flabbergasted with this one
