VST Plugins work, but song can't be loaded

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello dear forum members,

I discovered LMMS just recently for my Win10 Computer and I'm very impressed with the functionality and the intuitiv GUI.

I installed the latest version 1.1.3 and watched diverse youtube tutorials. Played around.

I decided to install my old Complete 5 collection from NI, not all but Absynth, FM8, Battery and Acoustic Piano.

I can load the plugins in VeSTige and they work like a charm, even on 64 bytes buffer size. It's really amazing. Unfortunatly when I save the project and want to reopen it later, the loading process stops while trying to open the VSTs.

Does anyone know about this problem or can I post some kind of log-files to encircle this problem, so the developers can solve it?

Kind regards, MisterIX.

sadly only apparently, because - there is a problem
the loading process stops while trying to open the VSTs.
And that is the problem..
Does anyone know about this problem
Yes, it is well known, and work is being done to eradicate it, but in general, you need to test any vst, before you use it a project. For that we have the 5 point test

But back to your projects, because they can be rescued very easy:

we also have a list of tested vsts, and those that fails

See, and here the note function comes in handy. Luv it.
Wow!!! I installed the Beta Version 1.20-RC4 yesterday, and my songs with the VSTs open and play without problem.

I'm defenetly going to stay with it and will report instabilities. I'm really happy now.

So actually this post can be marked as solved.

Many thanks to musikBear for his professional and friendly answer.

Kind regards, MisterIX.
