No Sound Output from LMMS

Hi, just installed LMMS on my Linux Mint 18.x but for some reason I cannot get any sound output. It has been set to ALSA by default. I have tried other options too but for some reason I cannot get any sound output from it. The sound otherwise work well with other applications.

Mint is mentioned in linux issues, but should be solvable using the KX-studio package

The KXstudio's distro i that most has full success with:
"KXStudio "lmms-vst-full - Linux Multimedia Studio - full VST support Using Wine"
I believe it also works for Mint.
