Editing Step Length

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I have tried searching this question and watched tutorials to see if anyone went through this but I couldn't find it. I know each step equals 4 beats with 16th subdivisions but I want to be able to change the amount of beats in each step. Like 3/4 but I don't want every sample to automatically do it either. I want to change individual steps for individual samples. For example I may have a bass playing 4/4 but the snare is 3/4 to make it groovier.

you can change time-signature in song-editor, but not for selected tracks alone
To achieve what you think about, you would have to make a manual edit of the 3/4 samples fit in 4/4 general time-signature...
Hmmm....
Its actually a bit interesting.. I will look at it and come back here :p
in ter est ing.. '12' could be a magic number
