Audio in TripleOscillator is like a bad megaphone

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
This is so annoying. When I use the tripleOscillator and put a note above or overlapping another note it goes to a super static sound, then when it's one note on a vertical line it's normal. Sound for everything on my laptop works except this.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oBtArP ... e=youtu.be

Clipping. Turn the volume down. On the separate oscillators and/or the instrument.
Some of the instruments are a bit louder than the rest by default. It's a known issue.

Yes as zonk say this is Clipping. You can monitor clipping in lmms on the Master-Output
Either in mixer, where you need to look at the VU-meter for Master, or you can look at Master-Output-visualization in main-window:

The component to the right -you need to click in it to activate it
Green shape: Fine
Yellow : warning
Red: Clipping
Simplest thing is to turn down VOL, but often it is RESO that causes clipping, so you can experiment with that too.
Using a Limiter plugin can prevent clipping, but distort in other ways.

Besides that, since you are new here-
