Weird new thing happening in Vestige on my Win XP machine

I still use LMMS all the time on this old computer, in addition to the new machine. This new bad thing suddenly started happening in Vestige (in all 3 versions of LMMS which I use: 1.0.3, 1.1.0, and 1.1.3). I've made no changes to anything. On the Vestige GUI, when I click the little green folder-icon to "open other vst plugin", it goes to the vst folder on my computer, as usual, but it now shows all the plugins in reverse order, from Z-A, instead of A-Z. It has been doing that for 3 days. I do a total shutdown of my machines every night, and see the same thing, each day for 3 days now. See image:



Has anybody else ever seen anything like this? It's not a disastrous thing --- it's just very weird and inconvenient, and adds a bizarre inefficiency to my workflow. Anybody with an idea how I can restore it to normal?

shows all the plugins in reverse order, from Z-A, instead of A-Z.

Try : Click in the top-bar, that inverse the sort-order, afair also in 1.1
In 1.2.0 there is even an option for sorting LMMS/ LADSPA/ VST

I'm looking at LMMS.
There's nothing that says "name".

Also, I now see this problem is not just with Vestige. The same thing is happening with every LMMS dialog box: Save As, Import, Export, and Export Tracks --- every one of them is now ordered in reverse, Z-A.

You are NOT seing the same in your windows-explorer? Could you check if the order there also is reversed, default

Xp .. you and me both, but i can run RC5 without slidest problems, and thats on a dual-core, with only 2 gigs ram.
RC5 is still not official (and never will be, cause a RC6 is lurking..) But try it

Yes, musikbear, those image-insertion instructions are the ones I follow with each attempt to insert an image into my post:
paste the url of the image into this box, select it, then select "insert image" above.
It surrounds the url, left and right, with the insert-img code, but then when I preview or submit the post, it only shows the word "image", instead of showing the actual image.
That is what I have done below.



And now it only says "image", instead of showing you the image. I did not type the word "image" above; I pasted my image-url, selected it, then selected the insert-image code.

So I have to paste the url here, so you can click on it and see the image:

And that image is what my LMMS looks like, every version I use regularly, every day for more than 4 years: 1.0.3, 1.1.0, and 1.1.3

If you look at the LMMS I use, you'll see there is no clickable bar at top, and nowhere does the word "name" appear.
(So you can imagine my frustration when you suggest that I click on a non-existent top bar, and then suggest that I click on the non-existent word "name".)

Now, back to my original issue: to view that reverse-ordering of data within the various LMMS dialog-boxes, please see my previous posts and click on the provided links to see the images.

And this reverse-ordering (Z-A) of all data within the various LMMS dialog boxes only started occurring last weekend, and it only happens within LMMS, and it's only happening on my Win XP machine, on which I have made no changes recently.
(I use it only for the music software which is on it.)

(You also mentioned something about RC5 and RC6. I think those have something to do with coding. I'm not a coder, so I don't do that stuff. I'm just a musician, trying to continue using LMMS the same as I've been doing for more than 4 years.)

This issue is a serious obstacle for workflow. It's kind of like trying to drive on the Autobahn in reverse, looking only in your vehicle's rear-view mirror.
