"the file seems to contain errors and cant be loaded" HELP

Ive been working on a project for the past 3 weeks. I saved i again as usual, but this morning i tried opening it and it displayed an error message. I tried recovering it using the .bak file, and that didnt work either! Is there a solution for this, because I really don't want hours of work to go to waste

I saved it again as usual

'usual' (?) If you saved default, the result is a mmpz-file
If this file has a size less than 3 kb, there is no data.

I tried recovering it using the .bak file

Also failed... Can you load a demo project, or any project at all? Try
If not, it could be, that the files are fine, but your lmms is flawed. You could try an uninstall, dl a new fresh pach, reinstall.

But IF you can load demos, and the mmpz file or the .bak file has size, then put them in a zip-folder - (both mmpz and .bak) upload, and send me the link to the zip as a PM, I will try to rescue 'something'
