M-Audio Keystation mini 32 pitch?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Linux Mint 17.3
LMMS 1.0.0

When I open keyboard in LMMS it's pitched in Eb not C so I have to lower the pitch by 3 semitones, either in LMMS or using the transposition function on the keyboard, but even if I use the latter it reverts to Eb once it's disconnected & reconnected. Not sure if this an idiosyncrasy of LMMS or the keyboard, any suggestions as to how to keep it permanently in C?

This is a very out of date version of lmms. I suggest you update to the latest beta release of the next stable version, lmms-1.2.0-rc6. It comes in the AppImage format. Just download it, make it executable and it should run.

You can read about setting the base note here: https://lmms.io/documentation/Instrumen ... #Base_note

One more thing. The lmms trusty package is pretty broken. If you want a .deb package, use the one from trusty-updates or the 1.0.3 from https://launchpad.net/~irie/+archive/ub ... ter=trusty.
I tried both LMMS 1.2.0 Beta and 1.0.3-5 from the PPA (had to force-install it) but it's still in Eb. Trusty Updates still showed 1.0.0, but then I saw your remark about base note which of course was the answer I was looking for! Thanks
Great!

I suggest you go with the beta then (lmms-1.2.0-rc6). It's the most stable version to date.
