LMMS UI scaling on high resolution monitors

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello, I've been wanting to try out LMMS for a while now but the UI is so small on my monitor that I can't use the program. It's a huge bummer.

I've seen a few threads on this topic, but theyre years old at this point and I'm hoping to find a better solution than editing a registry to get a UI that is way too big and almost unusable.

Is this the only solution?

Works for some screens, try that, and please report back, it it worked for you too
Yes, I tried that and linked it in my original post.
It "works", yes, but it makes the UI so big that I cant comfortably use the program then either.

I dont know of any other solution
What is the resolution of your monitor?
Hey, I hope it's fine to necro this thread as the issue doesn't seem to be resolved. I'm having the same problem at 3840x2160 resolution running LMMS 1.1.3 on Win10. Would be awesome to see a fix for this that doesn't involve fiddling in registry (even if it's just minor stuff).

Thanks and keep up the good work :)

It belongs here so exact correct place :)
First, win10 does not work well with 1.1.3
Get RC6 and
*Back-up your own stuff
*De-install current installation
*move the config dot-file
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=LM ... h_Settings
*remove your current installation-pack
*download a fresh new installation-pack either x32 or x64 of
LMMS 1.2.0 RC6 Orange buttons!
https://lmms.io/download/#windows
*re-install as administrator

The fault is caused by a win10 sec. update from may

Then try the method i advised previously.

Re All of this. I downloaded the RC 1.2 Beta. For sure the solution.

Yes and the RC8 and hence 1.2 will take care of this completely by it self! So there is no hickups at all on windows. Unfortunately this is not as simple on linux. Here a solution is still needed.

Besides that, since you are new in Forum
