Recording via MIDI

Hello!

I have a problem with regards to recording my music using an external keyboard. When I tried recording a piece of music, I can see the individual notes being recorded. But when I play it, some of the notes where not recorded properly (delayed, missing, etc.). Also, it sounds like the music recorded was one octave lower than the original.

Yes, its a common issue, and very easy to fix.
You only need to change the quantization in the piano-roll, where you capture the notes ao "Record".

What happens default, is that all notes are placed with 1/16 accuracy, and that will almost never fit human pace.
1/64 should be fine, but you can also choose 'free' Q with the setting 1/192

aye 64ths is where humanised timing is at 192 is crazy!!!!! I've leave that till next decade
