How do you use a sample track?!

How do you use a sample track!!?? im using the lmms linux 1.2.0 rc6 appimage, and i just cannot understand how do you use a SIMPLE sample track, the forum search is USELESS " how do you use a sample track has been ignored because it is too common ", just to be clear

Please follow the first two steps in the image in the link above and then follow the 3rd step from this post

3rd step: After clicking on that block, a Sample browser window will open up. Now you can choose your sample from that sample window (by opening the sample.)
Note: There is no option to edit samples in LMMS but you can add effects.

thx!, that way to load a sample track is really NOT intuitive, i was double clicking and dragging to the wrong place (where it shows the name, sorry for my bad english)
