So ive had the old lmms for years and i want to upgrade to the newer version if i do that will i lose all of my d projects on my last version of the software???

I think no, if you're on windows just go to user/lmms/projects and there you have all your project files, just do a backup and then install the new version. Then, if you can't find them just copy them again in user/lmms/projects.

What version do you have anyway?

I think i have installed ~ 300+ times. LMMS has never ruined any of my own stuff, ever!

But i always advice everyone to follow this sequence:

*Back-up your own stuff
*De-install current installation
*move the config dot-file

*remove your current installation-pack
*download a fresh new installation-pack either x32 or x64 of
LMMS 1.2.0 RC6 Orange buttons!

*re-install as administrator

Then you are fool-prooved, if anything goes wrong -like a powercut in the process.. who know...

Copy the folders to a usb stick or a different folder on your pc..
Say .. Havent you backed your pc up before?
Theres a saying in IT: Real men does not backup! -But they cry a lot
If you havent backed your personal files ever, its highly recommend that you do that!
