Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I Have:
1. Installed lmms.
2. qJack3
3. a2jmidid -e
4. ALSA Drivers
5. Nektar impakt lx 61

in lmms settings audio interface - jack

in midi setting a can't change setting - Dummy (midi not support)

Jack settings:

Jack audio

Jack alsa

Jack midi

Image

aconnect -o

client 14: 'Midi Through' [type=kernel]
0 'Midi Through Port-0'
client 20: 'IMPACT LX61' [type=kernel]
0 'IMPACT LX61 MIDI 1'
client 24: 'Steinberg UR22mkII' [type=kernel]
0 'Steinberg UR22mkII MIDI 1'

In audio settings: settings->midi->input
should be: settings->midi->input->impact lx 61

Troubles:
1. lmms not see device.
2. lmms not change settings->midi->interface

I Have:
1. Installed lmms.
I cant assist. I dont know LINUX.
You describe everything very well, but we need to know:
* What version of LMMS?
* Name of keyboard
** Important! Can that midi-kb work with other programs like Anvil-studio, or any other linux or online keyboard-capable apps? -if not, it could be drivers.
This could also be asked in a UBUNTU forum
* Have you followed the guide in wiki:

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

Lmms v 1.0.0
Completely outdated!
where the heck have you found that ?!??
Remove it!
Get the AppImage
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/releases/d ... 4.AppImage

Install that
okay big thanks in 1.2.0-rc7 all work.

1. alsa drivers.
2. in terminal a2jmidid -e
3. in jack -> connect -> midi -> (connect between read : midi keyboard <-> write: hw midi in
4. in lmms settings: driver jack. client name - hw:1
5. lmms midi settings: jack mid hw:1
6. sound settings ->midi->input
7. sound -> settings -> enable midi input 1

But i run lmms from terminal by this command

/.lmms-1.2.0-rc7-linux-x86_64.AppImage

And after exit settings not save.

How i can install from lmms-1.2.0-rc7-linux-x86_64.AppImage file?
