Severe Lmms issues after reinstalling Opensuse.

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
So i reinstalled an operating system and proceeded to install lmms afterwards.
When i open Lmms, no plugins loaded at all, giving errors such as the plugin "TripleOscillator" has failed to load.
Along with this, both plugin folders are empty.
before i reinstalled, lmms worked fine, presumably the same version as well.
Ive Tried:
Adding plugins myself,
Have restarted,
Installed and uninstalled the app multiple times.
The os is Opensuse TW on a year old Dell Inspiron.
Have you tried the appimage version, so not the one from the official repositories ?

I am on rc 5 and it works fine for me, openSUSE leap.

( for others the difference between thumbleweed and leap is that thunbleweed is a rolling release. )

Yes, you must use the App-Image for all linux packs!
First
*Back-up your own stuff
*De-install current installation
*move the config dot-file
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=LM ... h_Settings
*remove your current installation-pack
Get this:
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/releases/d ... 4.AppImage

Install

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

cannot open appimage,
Here is a complete guide for using AppImages in Linux
https://itsfoss.com/use-appimage-linux/

The AppImage is valid, and been used by a lot. It has to be something on your system, that is causing a problem. Try the guide, but you may like to get a new AppImage, because a new version RC7 was released yesterday
just needed to make it executable lol
Yes, should have told you that, me bad.

Good its working. :)
