Having Trouble Downloading Sample

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I'm really new to using LMMS and was wondering on how to be able to use a sample if I can't seem to extract the files.
Basic answer - if you can't download or extract the sample file you won't be able to use it.

To help you we'll need more information like what sample(s)? Where from? What operating system are you on? What have you tried and exactly what problems do you have?

use samples : : I can't seem to extract the files.
General use of samples in LMMS is explained here:
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Wo ... th_Samples

-But as Steve says, you need to extract them from archives, before you can use them in LMMS.
However, im not sure you mean zipped-archives.
I wonder if you by "extract the files" actually mean "putting them in LMMS"(?) That is explained in the link above

if you still have issues please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* lmms version
The sample I downloaded to use was this one: https://lmms.io/lsp/?action=show&file=4346

It didn't appear to have the option of extracting files. I use the LMMS 1.1.3 version.
It doesn't need any extracting. The .wav file you get when you press download IS the sample. Just move it (it's probably in the Downloads folder) into the appropriate folder (C:/users/*YourUsername*/lmms/samples) and you'll see it in "My Samples".

Steve
Steve is correct. You just have to move the sample to your sample collection
