Tape stop effect

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi guys...
So i have been using lmms for around 9 months now, and i think ive got the basics down. I really like making trap beats and really want to incorperate the tape stop effect, however, i do not know how to do it. A good example of what im talkning is in this beat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQgF7bV1kAQ. He uses a lot of effects that sounds like the music just gets stopped. Does anybody know how to do this?? If so, please reply and i would apreciate that a lot !!
Thanks.

There are several ways. You can use a plugin, but you can also do it with only lmms as i showed here:

I know this one :D hahaha
I took some time to really understand how this effect is done, and it is really simple.

Basically, the effect is done by reducing the frequency of the sound.

You need to a sound sample.
When you have a sample in LMMS; any key in Piano increases or decreases the frequency of the sound, and that is eaxctly what you need.

With the piano roll, you draw one BIG note that does not change your track, and then you can use the Pitch Bend Mode to simulate the Tape stop effect by drawing a change to lower notes.

If you don't understand what I just said in the last sentence, just load a song sample and use the piano keys to understand what is happening to the sound. Notice the difference in the speed of the track. If the sample has a beat, the effect is more noticeable.
Lower notes decrease the speed of the sample, higher notes increase the speed.
