Piano keys are the wrong notes

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello there people,

So I have seen multiple posts which kinda have this problem, but i can't figure out how to change my problem, so I will ask it here.
Every time i play the piano (my external keyboard connected to my computer) the keys sound off. Now apparently, the notes aren't correct. So whenever i play something that would've sound good on my normal piano, it sounds completely off when i play it on my piano keyboard. Is there a way to get the keys on their actual places? like so the C sounds as a C again?

Thanks in advance,

Davrozz

Hello there people,
Hi, Welcome to the Forum Davrozz !
Here are all important links:
http://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4740
-A few rules and useful forum instructions
Every time i play the piano the keys sound off.
There 3 different things that can cause this
1) The general-pitch
That slider
Image
(the first one from right) -Must be at value '0'!

2) Preset-Pitch
On most LMMS presets, there is a PITCH dial next to the VOL dial
Image
Again this must be at value '0'!

3) Base-note
That is the main control for octave-selection. Read about that here:

Let us know the outcome :)

Okay so i tried all of this, but to no avail :(
All the pitch settings are at 0, and i put the green square (that base not thing) on the C, but it still isn't a C when i play it. Or am i doing it wrong? Thanks for the help by the way.

Almost right. The green square goes over the A4 key. Look at the base note chapter again.
