Re: Create Loop From Song Editor

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi,

If I add a complete track .wav file to a sample track. Is it possible to grab a loop from anywhere on that track?

I can only seem to loop at the very start of the track and not anywhere else.

Thanks.

No, lmms does not have editing of sound-files. You need to make the splitting in a program like Audacity

You can however load the sample-file in Audiofileprocessor AFP, and select start repeat, and end point inside that file. Making it loop is then manually t&e
Need a tutorial?

This sentence puzzles me. I cant figure out, if you say that you only have sound if you play from the very start -if so, you need to upgrade!

*Back-up your own stuff
*Un-install current installation
*(re)move the config dot-file

HI,

I looked at Audiofileprocessor but it opens up the piano roll.

A tutorial for Audiofileprocessor would be good.

What I mean by this, is that when you select loop it only allows you to loop from the beginning. You can't loop in the middle of the track.

It opens where you ask it to open :p

Ok, i will make one then
If you put the wav file into the project as its own independent track, there is a way to shift where the sample starts. I just found it out the other day. It's a little tedious though.
