Add new instrument to beat/bassline editor stretched

Hello,

Is it possible to add a new instrument to beat/bassline editor that is stretched to the same length (number of steps/beats) as the other instruments in the editor? This is frustrating. I try to keep all instruments the same, but you can only stretch all of them simultaneously. When you add a new instrument, it's shortened to the shortest possible length, so you have to shorten and re lengthen everything, which causes data loss. Is there any way around this?

Yes, that is the default behavior in 1.2 witch is available as RC7!
Is that your current version of lmms?

You can also change number of steps on a single B&B-track:
* Right-click the track in question
* Select either add-Steps or remove-Steps -form context-menu
That operation will be for the selected track only!

In case you need to upgrade follow:

*Back-up your own stuff
*Un-install current installation
*(re)move the config dot-file
