Like what would you do if you wanted to have an effect gradually appear in a track?
That is what W/D Wet-Dry
is for.
A completely dry input, excludes the effect from the output, whereas a 100% wet input, include the effect 100% in the output. Automate W/D dial from 0 to 100%, and you have gradually added the effect.
