Is it possible to install NI Massive on linux?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.

I have the correct version of wine installed...
Which one is that? The latest stable wine version released is 4.0 .

I have the correct version of wine installed.
Also in right sequence?

Do you have enabled the Linux option:
"Sync VST plugins to host playback"?
Disable that!
If you have a vst that works for you with lmms, please tell me about it,
Yes! Lets test if VST works at all
Try MDA-Piano http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm
It is very small in size, and you can just copy it to your folder. -Eg NO installation! Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win
Great news, MDA-Piano worked! Now I have some questions:
1- is this a 64 bit vst or a 32 bit vst?
2- what exactly is it about this vst that made it work?

afaik it only exists as a 32 bit VST -That is what i have.

It is simple. You diddent even had to install it, so it is proof of pure VST support.

Massive is h u g e, and commercial. It will propl. be 'protected' in various ways, where they try to fight hacking aso.

But with MDA you have proof-of-concept, for your installed LMMS: You have VST-support.
As next VST, i recommend Synth1 ! its on the resource page :)
