How to run VST on LMMS in Linux?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I use Linux Lite 4.4 which is based on Ubuntu so it must be working as Ubuntu.
I've already installed Wine 3.01, and I try both LMMS (Beta and Full) to run VeSTige and try to open Synth1 as many tutorial out there.
https://everythingisamiracleblog.wordpr ... inux-mint/
I follow this tutorial anyway since Ubuntu and Mint based on Debian and Wine on Mint based on Ubuntu so I think it must be work, but it still doesn't work at all.
Installing LMMS from the package manager is not a good idea for most Linux Distro.
Kx studio might be the exception to the rule.

You should use the Apimage file.
https://lmms.io/download/#linux

Download it, set rights, to executable.
Then double click the file and lmms should start.

You're Linux is 64 bit ?

Just as GPS says, you should not use any distro-version of LMMS.
Currently, there is omly one version for all linux users, and that is the fore-mentioned AppImage!
It however only exists in x64..
Linux-users need the AppImage on the Linux-tab, only available on our own DL-page!!
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/releases/d ... 4.AppImage
In Linux RC8 Disable'Sync VST plugins to host playback'!!!
Rem. to backup before you reinstall!

Besides that, since you are new in Forum
