Midi routing on Windows 8.1

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I tried to route midi notes from AudioFileProcessor to TripleOsc. I'm unable to do that on Windows (LMMS 1.2.0) but everything works fine on Linux (LMMS 1.1.3).

Here the process that I tried:
1. From the default project, add an AudioFileProcessor (AFP) track.
2. Add some midi notes to the track
3. Enable midi output on AFP on channel 1
4. Enable midi input on TripleOsc on channel 1
5. Try to link midi output of AFP to TripleOsc (only entry: Microsoft GS wave on Windows, LMMS:TripleOSc is available on Linux)
6: Try to link midi input of TripleOsc to AFP (empty list on Windows, LMMS: AFP is available on Linux).
7: Press play: midi notes are routed on Linux, nothing on Windows

Is it necessary to add a special driver on Windows 8.1 (like a midi routing or mapper)?
If so, what is the one recommended?

:O.. I have never heard that before!
It is not a feature. It must be something Linux does. Afaik that has never ben intended.
What is the difference from simply just duplicating the notes in both TripleOsc and the AudioFileProcessor?
One possible usage would be to drive 2 or more other tracks with the same notes without having to edit the notes in each track.

Btw I found a way to make it work on Windows by using the program called: loopmidi
(author site: https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html). That program create virtual midi port that LMMS can use.
