Previous save recovery

I accidentally saved a project while it was only half-loaded, is there any way to restore what it was previously?

edit: some details:
- I half-loaded it by accidentally pressing spacebar while it was loading (which makes it only load partway for some reason???)
- I had been attempting to recreate it based on when I had exported it before the disaster, before I realized I could probably ask for help here

That is not good! It may have ruined the backup-file, but if you have not attempted to save the project more than once, then you have a back-up!

You should look for the "<myFile>.BAK" file.

youch, I did try to save more than once it appears to be lost forever, which sucks. oh well. at least I'll know for next time.
