wrong VST directory

Hi, I was setting up LMMS on my new Windows 10 laptop, which has an SSD and a HDD, and I installed LMMS to the SSD, setting the path for VSTs to a folder in my documents on the HDD, where all my plugins are. It has no problem loading plugins from this folder when I try to load one, but when I try to load a VST it defaults to the LMMS program folder on my SSD, and while it doesn't show any errors when loading a project I've copied over from my old laptop, it doesn't actually load the plugin properly (it has no UI and produces no sound). Is LMMS not able to have a folder on a different drive to where it's installed as a default file location? Or is there a fix to this?

It is your PATHs in Settings that determine where LMMS will look for your files.

If you now have all paths set up correctly, and you still cant make LMMS use the VSTs, then you may need to get rid of the LMMS-configuration file, and buil a new one. How to that:
