cant extend note value in piano roll

Hi Im just starting with lmms, im trying to use the piano roll and i watched the official first video tutorial https://youtu.be/4dYxV3tqTUc , @2:58 in the video where he says he clicks on the white part of the note and he can drag it, that doesnt happen for me, i can only move the note (a cross icon comes up instead of the horizontal icon that allows you to resize)

edit: after restarting twice it works again, any idea why it happened in the first place?

Very odd!
I cant say why, but if the bug returns, then post again, and remember to let us know your OS and vers. of LMMS (New 1.2.0 strongly recommended!)
