Can't Load VST Plugins

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hey I can't seem to load any Plugins.
I tried multiple.
https://gyazo.com/21363c9b3ac335a1b69dd633777b1d90
No errors just says: No VST Plugin Loaded

https://gyazo.com/e3275b41f2db9761a661ee4f72c01342
This is the file path directory.

Any ideas? or solutions?
Lets start at the beginning,

What is you're operating system, Windows, Linux or mac ?

LMMS Mac version does not support vst.
On Linux you need to install wine to be able to use vst in vestige.
On windows it should just work.

What version of LMMS are you using? And were did you get it ? :)

I looked at that second pic, and it seems you're on windows. ( can't see what version you're using though)

I am on Linux but that folder path does not look right to me.

Vst should not be in the plugin folder, but in the vst folder I think.
That should not matter much though, unless were taking about effect plug-ins.

But lets wait for our windows expert about the file path.

How do you load the vst ?
Did you put vestige into the song editor, and then clicked the green folder icon on vestige, and browsed to the akoustik keys.dll file ? It wont auto load.
I'm on Windows yeah sorry.
I got LMMS on the official page. So I am asuming the latest one.
I have it in the plugin folder thats what I assumed since that worked for FL studio.

I put vestige in to the song editor then click the folder and chose my VST it won't load.
No errors no nothing. Nothing happens at all.

Windows
I am asuming the latest one.
Latest is 1.2.0 -You see that in the top, or you can check 'about', but if you got it from our site, then it should be ok, but check it!
I have it in the plugin folder
No you need to have your VSTs in the VSTs directory, that you (have?) setup in Edit| Settings| Paths.
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=LM ... ings#Paths
Go in there and browse to the folder where you want your VSTs to be placed (thats up to YOU, but the path in Settings, must point to where you have your VST-dll's
Let us know the outcome :)

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

Hey thanks for the warm welcome!
I think I've taken the necessary steps to set it up.
Here's a small gif/video of me trying to open a VST as a test.

And it doesn't really do anything. No errors no nothing.

Edit:
You can also see the path that I set up through LMMS

Oh yes fine vid, and very easy to see where you miss out!
You must click the button Open at 0:11 in your vid! You only highlight the dll, but you never Open it! Do that, and i am sure you are good to go!

Yeah I actually double clicked it in the video. Manually clicking the button I wouldn't imagine making a difference.

:| ok..e
we need to take the VST out of the fail equation :
DL MDA-Piano http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm
It is very small in size, and you can just copy it to your folder. -Eg NO installation! Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win

Load that in a new project, in the VST container. If MDApiano does not work, then there is a new problem, but try MDA first
Now that is weird, I use 4front piano allot. ( on Linux )
