Velocity in piano roll when I move mouse left or right

Hi,

I noticed something, when I click one note in piano roll, and I move mouse left and right, there are different behaviors.
First, when I move mouse left, velocity decrease and become 200% after 0% many times as in the video.
Second, when I move mouse right, the notes don't vary when I move it up and down.
Is it normal? Knowing that we move mouse right most of the time.

Its good that you posted that video, else i would not have understood this.
In LMMS kb the keys are velocity sensible
If you click a key on its 'tip', you get full velosity!
If you click a key on its 'base', you get lowest velosity!
You start your click 'inside' the kb, and then drag outside lmms ui to you desktop. You still have geometric contact to lmms' ui, because of the mouse hold, so you will get a undefined velosity-change, for respective keys in that sequence.
When you drag to the right, you actually only playing various nots with default velosity.
Thats why there is a difference!
So what to do..
its much more a 'what not to do', and that is dragging note handles outside the lmms-ui :P

I will rephrase what I said. In this issue, you must hold left click on one note. Then, you move mouse to the right and move up and down. This is the current behavior :

No, you are not in contact with the piano-keys, so what you actually are doing, is to move a virtual note over the surface of the sequencer. However, there is an issue with the 'touch' of the piano in piano-roll: strumming only over the white keys, will also play the black keys. That is wrong, and that may be corrected -Not scheduled.
