SoundFonts that simulate the Sound Blaster AWE32

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello everyone,

I would like to use LMMS to play midi files that I created more than 20 years ago, when I had a Sound Blaster AWE32. This sound card (which I no longer have) is now obsolete, but my midi files were fitted to sound good with this card. When I play them on anything else, like Yamaha or Roland sound canvas, they just sound awful. So I would like to have a .sf2 file with the AWE32 sounds.

Now there are two problems:
- The SoundFonts of the AWE32 were in the .sbk format, not .sf2. Specifically, the file that I'm interested in is synthgs.sbk (I have it).
- The file format .sbk doesn't store any sample, it only gives a recipe for constructing the instruments by using samples that were stored in the rom of the AWE32. This means that it is not possible to convert an .sbk file into an .sf2 file without a copy of the awe32's rom, which I can't find anywhere.

However, some people must have done it. For example, DosBox can emulate the AWE32, so I'm assuming that the developers of DosBox where able to make a copy of the AWE32's rom.

So, does anyone know if there exist an .sf2 file with the AWE32 instruments?
Hello,

Thank you, but no, it's not helping. The SBK file refers to samples that are in the rom of the AWE32. I need a software that both reads from the SBK file and the AWE32's rom, and then saves the result as an SF2.
