ZynnAddSubFx presets gone.

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Since today or so, I suddenly can't access the presets any more. Banklist in zasf is empty :o

I can still find them through lmms though, and when I drag them in to the zynaddsubfx window that still works.

Linux 64 bit , version 1.2. It worked fine before,

Pc is haunted ?

And only zasfx? eg 3oc and idk... LB303 presets are still accessible from sidebar' myPresets ?

oddd..

Have you changed your file/folder structure?
Installed something new.. Game-demos, or other test-programs?
Have you checked the rights on the working-directory-folder for zasfx in your LMMS-installation?

If all fails, then i would reinstall after backup.. :| ..odd though ..
All presets, including the zynaddsubfx ones were still accessible through the side bar.
But from within zasfx, all banks were gone. It was also not showing the preset name any more.

I fixed it though with some luck. I deleted a file called: .zynaddsubfxXML.cfg

After this I started LMMS through the appimage file as usual, and when I started zasf, it was like the first time you use it.
If asks you if you want the beginner or the advantaged interface.

A new cfg file was created by just starting zasf.

Then I looked for the banks, and they were showing again in zasf. :D

Some how that file must have gotten corrupted ?

I was worried for a second, and loaded an older lmms project with zasf in it.
All was fine though.

Ahhh! Then all you had to do was click the 'show-padSynth-status'-button, and then ckick 'Refresh-bank-list'
Then they come back in view :) afair also in linux (?)
Tried that, but it did not work.

Should remember it though.

Its possible it got corrupted though, because of the way I often have to stop LMMS.

I often have to stop lmms by clicking the X top right.

Then Linux tells me LMMS is not responding, to which I usual reply, no really ?

Why do think I am clicking that X ? you stupid computer. :P

Then after this, In windows terms, ctrl+alt + delete on Linux Ctrl + esc to bring up the taskmanager, to end all vst still running.

Reported the bug causing this, gui getting unresponsive, to any input from me.
Fun fact synth1 and other vst are often still working but its impossible to get back to the lmms gui.

I am worried about his bug for a few reasons.
First will the devs be able to reproduce it.
Second find what is causing this non consistent problem.

Some times twice in 5 min, but often also not even once in an hour this problem occurs.

Sometimes I click out side the vst window and the lmms gui does respond.
Sometimes I need to do alt + tab to get back to the lmms gui.
Sometimes all of the above fail, and its all over.

Then kill all and start over is the only thing left. :)

Ctrl + esc to bring up the taskmanager, to end all vst still running.
I dont know if Linux has the same options as windows, but if you can, do use End-task-tree or similar
That will kill not only your main process (lmms), but also all the connected processes like remoteVSTs running inside lmms.
You get a cleaner shutdown.
I can try that, but now use task manager after I already killed LMMS.

The vst just keep running with this bug. Lmms does not seem to crash either, its just I can't access the gui any more.

I did keep an eye out the first time, if wine would stop too, but it does when I kill the vst. :)
