LMMS Losing Project Data. (Something like that)

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello! I am here to ask, how do you save projects without losing data?

Here is the story. (Not a story but the background of the problem)

I am trying to collab with a friend.

We sucked at LMMS at that time.

We used Soundfonts (SF2) and sample packs (WAV)

I saved the project.

Sent it to my friend.

He told me that there was no sound.

I was confused.

We were trying to find a way to fix this problem but the only solution was putting back the Soundfonts manually.

Since this problem was on to us, We are trying to collab with VST Synths and 3rd party plug-ins.

I don't know if the problem might occur again. (I just don't want my friend and I to put back the stuff that we did in the plug-in manually)

Is there a fix to this so that my friend and I can collab again with advanced plug-ins? There free plug-in btw. We just don't want to put the settings manually. It will take Ages to make a song if that problem occur.
Also I am using the latest version of LMMS.

(Ignore) Features that I wanna request:
-Ghost notes (Ghosting notes from one layer to another layer)
-Portamento in Audio File Processor (For 808 slides or some instrument slides)

This 2 will be important to me in LMMS (Id be happy and willing to look out for these items)

Currently that is really a hazzle!
What you need to do is to manually make a pack of all resources that is used in the project that are not native parts of LMMS! All
* own soundclips
* own presets
* VSTs
* Soundfonts

All of those must be in the package you send to each other

In respect to your feature-request:
* ghost-notes Is made, comes in next release
* porta with AFP: Tou can do that already: Use detune-feature https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Pi ... or#Editing

Besides that, since you are new in Forum
Welcome IHateTheWorld !
Here are all important links:
http://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4740
-A few rules and useful forum instructions

One rule is about byline/ signature -Yours are wayyyy to HUGE :)
Please fix that.

One problem tho... I don't know how to make a pack. Sorry.

Is there a tutorial or a wiki for it?

You should not wait. Our releases are not frequent. It may take a year or longer before the next off. release comes.
If you really need Ghosts now, you can use the trickery i show here in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTF8s2AxknA

When i say 'pack' i just mean a zipped folder :)
Ghost notes are implemented in the fashion outlined here https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/5267 if you compile lmms master branch from source.

Ghost notes in a DAW are essential for me, so I thought it worth mentioning for others.
