Piano Roll Loop

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello,

As I create more notes I want to start playing/looping further down the piano roll. Let's say I want to start my loop at 2 seconds, what is the procedure of doing so?

I'm trying to play around and figure it out. There are left and right magnetic loop points (the hint at bottom left) as I hold shift and right click on the time panel, and as I drag/click, it turns a light grey color (although i don't see magnetic points). Now I assume this grey region is where the loop is, however, when I click play, it goes back to the beginning (at 1 second).

The loop button is the >< icon in the title bar of the Piano Roll. Turn it on. Part of the bar-label will light up, showing you what's going to loop. Move the endpoints with right-click (end of loop) and middle-click (start of loop). Although it gets kind of tricky (not always doing what you expect - there's a paradigm at work that I don't understand), but just play with it until it's highlighted what you want to loop. Now Play will only play what's highlighted.

If I've understood the question right...
This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!

... soo truue -but
In windows the (shysss!) secret is AltGr

Piano-roll:
Here 'loops' are understood as 1-n Bars!
The logic of a sequencer determine that loops are the same as whole bars!
So setting loop-points will snap to bar-deviders
Unless..
You hold AltGr!
Then you can set your loop exactly as you want!
You can even drag up and down
For right loop-point AltGr+right-mouse
For left loop-point AltGr+SH+right-mouse
But bar-snapping does make sense!
When you click on the time-bar for setting right-loop-point use right-mouse Only
When you click on the time-bar for setting left-loop-point use right-mouse + SH

Song-Editor
We still have bar-snapping!
But now the distance from a bar-middle to the mouse-pointer, will control if the snap is up or down-worth !
Std. Again:
When you click on the time-bar for setting right-loop-point use right-mouse Only
When you click on the time-bar for setting left-loop-point use right-mouse + SH
Loops : Always right-mouse

Buuut again you can take command!
For right loop-point AltGr+right-mouse
For left loop-point AltGr+SH+right-mouse

Then we have the ..Advanced loop control :D
For that, i will link to my video...
