how to get rid of the silence at the end of a measure?

hey im kinda new to lmms and i've noticed that at the end of a measure, if there's no more notes to play it just stays silent for the rest of the measure before starting over. i want to know how to get rid of this silence, since it's bugging me and i need a certain set of notes to play over and over in an even manner that i can't really get because of it. i've been copying and pasting the notes in the piano roll, but i figured it might be easier to copy and paste them in the song editor, which is where i'm getting the silence: at the end of each copy-pasted succession of notes.

In fact its not the number of notes that does not fit, it is the time-signature that is chosen, that you have to change.
