How to add offset to song

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I want to simply put some drums over a song. However, the drums are not properly snapped to the beats to the song. How can I add an offset so the drums and song are aligned?

Nje.. wait a mins. Here there is something you ned to understand first.
The song you have has a Tempo, that is often called the BPM -of the song! It is how often a down-beat happens in the song / minute
That The BPM of your song, That you must first make out!
There are tools for that: http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm
(Many other great tools can be found in our tools collection https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Useful_resources)
After you know the BPM, you set LMMS to that BPM,
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=To ... po_Control
and then your hole percussion, including that drum you want, will be perfectly synchronized with your song (if you got the BPM right)
I already have the BPM of the song set, but the drums I add are off sync, and be defauly snap to the grid lines.
If it is a matter of one of the tracks is faster than the other you can click on the FX in the instrument , select "enable chain" and then add the effect DELAY. Then adjust the knob to slow it down.
Okay, thank you!
