Soundfonts Not working?

I am completely new to LMMS as a program. I've been wanting to mess around with some game soundfonts, so I got the program seeing that it had soundfont support. I've downloaded several different soundfont packs, and none of them are working. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if the soundfonts just aren't compatible with the program? Here's a couple of the soundfonts in question:

I had to download an sf2 splitter for the second one. I'm probably just doing this incorrectly, so I'm sorry if I'm wasting anyone's time. I'm just stumped here.

I've downloaded several different soundfont packs, and none of them are working.

I took a view on the first pack, and i found the reason : You need to select a patch
Its done with the button in the red square

Before that is done, the SF2 is silent. Its a silly thing, because there is only that one patch to select, so it should be auto-selected. I'm not sure if its the SF, or our code that causes this.
