need help making guitar amplifier vsts work without guitar

yep. based on the title alone im broke and i just want to make some metal music. as i scourged the internet for vsts as listed here. only problem though is that the amplifier vsts dont work in the piano roll. would really appreciate if you could help out, thanks

No you need to add the amplifier on the instrument FX-tab

You need to understand the sound routing, amp is going to the end, the firsti thing you need is sound source, try some pluck guitar-like sound on subractive synth like Synth. Than you need effects on fx section of this synth like in musikbear video. Try adding some distortion to be more metal like, sometimes you dont even need the amp simulator vsti. Delay and reverb are must for leads and solos :)

BTW great video musikbear, like the motorhead riff hehe. The sound is somehow too cruncy, but this fx rouring gave me some ideas to recreate the Jens Johhanson (Stratovarius) famos lead sonud.
