Some vst synths don't fit window

Ubuntu 14.04 with KX Studio repos

Just did a reinstall after 15.04 worked horribly with vst.
Now I notice that some vst don't fit the windows properly.
NoiseMaker first loads fine but after adjusting a slider/knob the gui jumps to another position in the windows.
I've noticed this with (the awesome) TAL NoiseMaker synth

and the u-he TyrellN6.

Other stuff seems to load fine.

Anyone noticed this.

BTW KX Studio uses a modified wine. Gonna try a VBox install to see if the same problem arrises.

Same thing happens in virtualbox Ubuntu 14.04 with kxrepos and (regular non -rt) wine1.6
I had to install the kxsrepos because there's no up-to-date package in the Ubuntu repos. I tried to download the lmms packages manually but they have several dependencies that are only in the kxstudio repos.

Have you ever tried any mods/ themes, or is it the default theme?

I use the numix gtk theme with numix circle icons.
Also tried switching graphics drivers for my Nvidia card. Both the nouveau drivers and nvidia-331, no change

Did a virtualbox install of lubuntu 14.10.
No problems there

upgraded to Ubuntu 14.10 problem persists ... wtf

i would say it s the theme - try to revert to the default theme, and see if you still have the issue?
