VST plugins won't load suddenly.

I have been using third-party plugins for a while now. It all worked fine until one time, I used one, Krush by Tritik, and it just didn't work. There was no "controls" option on it, and it didn't apply the effect. It's worth mentioning that I used it on an SF2 file and I had never done that beforehand. It, and all other third-party plugins, FX or otherwise, still continue not to work. I tried reinstalling LMMS but to no avail. Any help? I use Windows, my version is 1.2.1, and I made sure that the plugin directory was correct.

I just restarted my computer and it worked perfectly. I'll leave this up for anyone having the same problem.

Great that you fixed it. The reason is that a crash of the embedding part, will leave an sc orphan-instance of RemoteVstPlugin. You can actually fix the issue, if you close down those instances from task.manager
