midi issues

Hello there I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before or aware of a fix. Been using LMMS for a while mostly thanks to this forum and this is my first teething problem. I recently purchased a m-audio oxygen 49 midi keyboard to use with lmms. i'v connected it and its working fine except on a few notes, On B3, G3, B4 and G4 the midi input triggers five or six surrounding keys, several of which continue to play after key release. anyone know if theres a fix for this or if its an inevitable problem? have tried a few factory resets and no luck. thanks

having experimented more this is the case with many keys, a midi input signal triggers a number of keys surrounding the one pressed

Doubt it is the same -His i believe was 4 notes skew on all notes, and that would be a base-note fix.
Yours are much more strange.
If i understand you, when some MIDI-KB keys , are pressed, hey do not correspond to the virtual kb on the lmms-instrument, and the wrong semitone is played?

Is that a correct understanding of your issue?

First.. I need to know more please post your:
* Name of your Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype ('Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* lmms version
* lmms sound device chosen
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=LM ... o_Settings
If the issue are with default content:
* lmms instrument involved
* lmms preset (if a factory preset is used)
If the issue are with non-default content:
* VST involved & link to a download for this VST

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

Thanks for the welcome! yes thats a perfect understanding of the issue, pressing certain midi keyboard notes causes the trigger of multiple semitones in the lmms keyboard. I am using Windows Home 10. LMMS 1.2.1. SDL. I've tested the issue in both LMMS preset instruments and in non-defualt VST's and it appears in all. Very confusing. thanks

yes thats a perfect understanding of the issue,
I came to think of something that perhaps could be the reason. I dont own a MIDI-KB so i have not been able to test, if that could happen, but how is your Master-semitone-tuning
You find this next to the Master-volume-slider in the main-component:

This one:

and detail

That slider must be in position "0-semitones"
Is that the case?
Let us know the outcome :)
