Last note in segment overlapping into an extra measure

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi, LMMS newbie here; I haven't made anything with it long enough to know whether this is an actual issue but it was slightly bugging me so I thought I'd ask if there was an easy way to fix it:

With piano roll tracks, if a note reaches the end of a measure the segment shows up as taking up an extra measure:

Although I can get rid of the silence when exporting by marking the the 4 measures as a loop, copying the segment across the track becomes a little harder visually to place them since it needs to overlap one measure. Also there's that bit of silence at the end when playing the segment.

Is there any way to make the segment only take up 4 measures (both visually and for playback)? Thanks!

Yep, it is suppose to, and is like that in all DAWs
You get this issue, if you have a notelength that is not 'in measure'
1/1 notes fits one bar exactly, but the slightest longer, they will overshoot into the whole next bar.
The solution
Set your piano-roll :
* Q-value to 1/192
* Magnification +400%
Now you can see that the note overshoots the bar-divider
Grab the overshooting note right end with you mouse and shorten it in 1/192 steps, until it fits inside the bar.

Thank you for musikbear for the links and the explanation and solution - I just tried it now (192 q-value and zoom in) and it worked perfectly. It's not clear to me what the design rationale behind this is as the note overshooting can't be seen without zooming in but perhaps I'll find that the extra silence comes in useful when composing!

And you're right, LMMS is the first DAW I've used - definitely looking forward to getting stuck in and thank you for the YouTube link for the tutorial as well, I've earmarked it to watch :D
