Project Won't Play Vocal Sample

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I'm brand new to LMMS and am using it to put instrumental behind a vocal track I made. The only problem is that when I try to play the song, only the backing track plays. All of the volume settings for the vocals are turned up and the track isn't muted. I'm just really confused.

Additional information:
-latest version of Windows
-latest version of LMMS
-vocals are a WAV file from Audacity
-I've tried everything in the wiki page

Thanks!

First we need to check if the vocal-sample eg the sound-recorded wave-file, is functional. For that, please try and play the file in windows-player, or audacity if you have that
If it play fine, then we check if it in fact is loaded.
In LMMS we can play recorded files in 2 ways:
* In AudioFileProcessor (AFP)
* In Sample-track
AFP is most suited for short samples, like effects, and you can modify the sample a lot in AFP!
Sample-track is the one you should use for a longer recording, like your vocal-wave-file, so that is what i will focus on!
First you insert a sample-track in song-editor with a click on the 4. button on the toolbar:

Click in the new track-type. You get an orange field.
Double-click on that, and a file-browser opens
Browse to your recorded vocal, select it and OK the selection.
That will give you something looking like this:

Now try to replay inside the sample-track. You should now hear the recording

Let us know the outcome :)
