MIDI latency too high

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I got LMMS running on Windows using a Keyboad with MIDI to USB adapter.
Even when i set the audio buffer to the lowest value, i get noticeable delay between keystroke and sound output.
Is there any way to reduce latency or which software would you rocmmend instead as pure low latency "sound modul"?
Would be further great to have it run in headless mode on a raspberry pi ;)

Latency issues can be caused by many things.
You are on windows, so you must use SDL as devise!
Also in settings, you bave buffer-settings -Experiment with that too
Also make sure you use 1.2.2
Lastly there is the cable. If that is compromised, then you can have insane latency. Here you need to compare with a new cable, so not so simple

Besides that, since you are new in Forum
